How can I assign a File to a particular User for semiconductor Functional Test Data Analysis in Yield Power SQL ( semiconductor Defect Management Software )?
Click on the menu option "Assign File to User" in the "Security" Manu. Assign File to User form will be opened. All the uploaded files ( STDF V3.0, STDF V4.0 ) are available in the Select Data File drop down list. Select a File from the drop down list which you want to use for Statistical processes, all the Unassigned Users for the selected File will be displayed in the Unassigned Users window and all the Assigned Users for the selected File will be displayed in the Assigned Users window. Assign/Un-assign the selected File ( uploaded STDF file ) to the available users.


How can I assign a TDR to a particular User for semiconductor yield management in Yield Power.com
Click on the menu option "Assign TDR to User" in the "Security" Manu. Assign TDR to User form will be opened. All the uploaded files ( STDF V3.0, STDF V4.0 ) are available in the Select TDR drop down list. Select a TDR from the drop down list, all the Unassigned Users for the selected TDR will be displayed in the Unassigned Users window and all the Assigned Users for the selected TDR will be displayed in the Assigned Users window. Assign/Un-assign the selected TDR to the available users.

How can I change my Password frequently in Yield Power SQL?
Yes, you can change your password as many times as you wish. Click on the menu option "Change Password" in the "Security" Manu. Change Password form will be opened. Enter Old Password ( existing password ), New Password and then add New Password again for the confirmation and click on the Ok button, the password will be changed.

User Management

How can I add a new user in Yield power SQL ( semiconductor Defect Management Software )?
Click on the menu option "User Profile" in the "Security" Manu. There are two sub menu options "Add User" and "List Users". Click on the "Add User" sub menu option. Add User form will be opened. There are two Tabs in the "Add User" window, one is about the user general information and other is about the user privileges for uploaded files ( STDF V3.0, STDF V4.0 ) and TDRs. In the Add User tab enter First Name, Last Name, Email ( with defined format ), Phone ( with defined format ), Fax ( with defined format ), select predefined User Group from User Group's drop down list, User Name, Password and Remarks. Define privileges to the user and then click on the Save button to save the user in the data base.

How can I assign privileges to the Users in Yield power SQL?
In User Privileges tab of the Add User form you can give rights of different uploaded data files and TDRs to the users. The files ( Uploaded STDF data file )and TDRs are displayed in the window in shape of tree, with checkbox on left side of each File( Uploaded STDF data file )/TDR name. Check the check box to assign the privileges of that particular File( Uploaded STDF data file )/TDR to the user.

How can I search the users, saved in the data base in Yield power SQL ( semiconductor Defect Management Software )?
Click on the menu option "User Profile" in the "Security" Manu. There are two sub menu options "Add User" and "List Users". Click on the "List Users" sub menu option. List Users form will be opened. A particular user can search by specifying First Name, Last Name, User Group and User Name or any one of these parameters. Click on the Search button to search the user with the specified criteria. You can Add, Edit and Delete users from this window.

How can I get User List of all the existing users in Yield power.com?
Click on the menu option "User Profile" in the "Security" Manu. There are two sub menu options "Add User" and "List Users". Click on the "List Users" sub menu option. List Users form will be opened. Click on the Search button without specifying any search criteria, the Yield Power will return all the existing users in the search result.

How can I add a User Group in Yield power.com ( Defect Yield Trending Analysis Software )?
Click on the menu option "Group Profile" in the "Security" Manu. There are two sub menu options "Add Group" and "List Groups". Click on the "Add Group" sub menu option. Add Group form will be opened. Enter User Group name and then assign privileges of the File ( uploaded STDF V3.0, STDF V4.0 file ) and TDR to the particular User Group. The privileges ( like add, delete, modify, export etc. ) are displayed in the window in shape of tree, with checkbox on left side of each privilege. Check the check box to assign the particular privileges to the User Group.


How can I search the User Groups, saved in the data base in Yield Power SQL ( semiconductor Defect Management Software )?
Click on the menu option "Group Profile" in the "Security" Manu. There are two sub menu options "Add Group" and "List Groups". Click on the "List Groups" sub menu option. List Groups form will be opened. List of all the existing User Groups is displayed in the window. You can Add, Edit and Delete users from this window.

Importing Data from STDF Files

How can I upload STDF file for semiconductor data analysis in Yield power.com?
To upload the STDF files for semiconductor Functional Test Data Analysis, click on File Menu or ( Alt+F ) as shown in and then click on Import. On clicking Import, a new window opens with the name of Upload Data File ( STDF ). The User presses the Browse button to select a data file, and the presses the Done button or ( Alt+D ). That data file should be STDF file with a defined format.

The user can upload STDF file containing 32000 columns and unlimited rows. Yes, click on the menu option "Test Data in the "Maintenance" Manu. Resultant Data Detail form will be opened. Select a test data file from the Data File drop down list and the test data for the selected file will be displayed in the window.

How can I Mark/Unmark outliers to analyze semiconductor test data in Yield Power SQL ( semiconductor Defect Management Software )?
when the STDF file is uploaded then Yield Power automatically opens the Basic Test data Information form, you can view the complete data of uploaded STDF V3.0, STDF V4.0 files with automatically marked outliers in red color. Here you can Mark/Unmark outliers manually.

Click on the Mark Outlier button ( or Alt+M ) to mark any data elements as outliers. Whichever element you will marks as an outlier, with a mouse click, will be change to red indicating that the selected element is marked as an outlier.

Click on the Unmark Outlier button ( or Alt +U ) to unmark any red colored outlier as normal element. Whichever element you will unmark, with a mouse click, will be change to automatic color indicating that the selected element is unmarked.

Can I modify the uploaded test data for semiconductor test data analysis in Yield power.com?
Yes, you can modify any record/label of an already loaded file. You can Modify Label's General Information as well as Data element of the desired Label. Click on the Modify button ( or Alt+M ) on the Resultant Data Details form, Modify Raw Test Data form will be opened. You can modify the data in the form and click on the Preview button. This action will upload the modified data in to selected file and display the modified data in the Preview Test Data form.

Can I add data in the already uploaded test data ( STDF V3.0, STDF V4.0 ) for semiconductor test Functional Test Data Analysis?
Yes, to add a new record click on the Add button ( or Alt+A ) on the Resultant Data Detail form, the Data Elements Definition form will be opened. Enter the number of data elements that you wish to add in the selected file and click on the Ok button. Add Raw Test Data form will be opened enter the desired data in the form and click on the Preview button. This action will upload data in to selected file and display the entered data in the Preview Test Data form.

Can I delete the Test Data from a File ( uploaded STDF file ) in Yield Power SQL ( semiconductor Defect Management Software )?
Yes, to delete a test data label select a label and click on the Delete button ( or Alt+D ) on the Resultant Data Detail form, the selected test data label will be deleted form the Test Data File.

When the STDF file is uploaded then Yield Power automatically opens the Basic Test data Information form, you can view the complete data of uploaded STDF V3.0, STDF V4.0 files with automatically marked outliers in red color. Click on the Process Data button and the Yield Power will perform the statistical calculations on the data and will display the Statistical Analysis.

How can I perform the Statistical processes on my already uploaded semiconductor test data in Yield Power SQL?
Yes, click on the menu option "Test Data" in the "Maintenance" Manu. Resultant Data Detail form will be opened. Select a test data file from the Data File drop down list and the test data for the selected file will be displayed in the window. Click on the Remove Outlier button and the Yield Power will open the Basic Test Data Information form. Click on the Process Data button and the Yield Power will perform the statistical calculations on the data and will display the Statistical processes.

Statistical Calculations

What are the resultant Statistical variables in Yield power.com ( Defect Yield Trending Analysis Software )?
The statistical calculations will yield in to Mean, Standard Deviation, Min, Max, CPK, Yield etc.

Histogram

Can I view the histogram reports with different linking parameters?
Yes, you can add a TDR's Parameter with a Label of any data file uploaded before. The Yield Power provides individual and Collectively linking functionality.

How can I perform Individually Linking of Labels with TDR Parameters for semiconductor Functional Test Data Analysis in Yield power.com ( Defect Yield Trending Analysis Software )?
There are Hyperlinks of different sections of the selected Template from the Add New TDR window. User clicks on any hyperlink of any section and after selecting a label the user presses ok then Data Linking of TDR with Section form will open with two portions one is about the Label General Information and other is about the Sub section Information.

How I can perform collective Linking of Labels with TDR Parameters?
For Collective Linking User press Link All Parameter Button ( Alt+L ) on after selecting a TDR.

Comparison of Histograms

What is comparison of histograms in Yield Power SQL ( semiconductor Defect Management Software )?
You can compare histograms of different data sets. You can also compare histograms by comparing multiple labels. You can compare up to twelve labels and classify data on the basis of lower and upper limits to see the semiconductor characterization.

Templates

What are the templates and how the templates help in reporting and semiconductor Functional Test Data Analysis in Yield Power SQL?
Templates are user for customization of Test Data Reports. You can define unlimited sections and sub sections for each template.

How can I define a Template for a specific semiconductor Functional Test Data Analysis?
Click on the menu option "Create" in the "Template" Manu. Template Creation Wizard will be opened. Enter TDR Template Name and date. After entering the name click on the Next button, the "Template selection Definition" form will be displayed. Enter section names and click on the Next button, then enter the sub section names for each section. Now define the CPK type and link it to a desired section and click on the Next button. The Yield Power will display the information of the template, click on the Finish button to save the template in the data base.

Test Data Reports

How can I view the TDR of my semiconductor data analysis in Yield power.com ( Defect Yield Trending Analysis Software )?
Click on the menu option "Test Data Report" in the "Maintenance" Manu. Test Data Report form will be opened. You can view any of the TDR with its parameters and its linked values. All the defined TDR's are in the Left Part of TDR Management screen, on selecting a TDR its details will be displayed in the right hand pane.

How can I define a new TDR?
You can define new TDRs by clicking Add TDR button ( or Alt+A ) in TDR Management form. Add New TDR form will open, select
already defined template from the drop down list and add different parameter names.

What are the conditions for entering parameters?

You can not leave TDR Name field empty. Parameter Name should be unique. User can leave fields of Specification and Sim Performance empty. If you have entered some Parameters and wants to add a new parameter on top or in the middle of Parameters, then click on the Add New button ( or Alt+A ) to add a new parameter. Yield Power will add it at the current cell position. After defining all the parameters click on the Save button then Yield Power will show a success message that New TDR is defined. And that TDR Name will be added in the left pan of TDR Management screen where you can view its details as well. You can also define TDR Date, however system's date will be displayed by default.

TDR Customization

Can I copy the TDR with data and linking in Yield Power SQL?

Yes, you can copy TDR with data and linking, click on Copy TDR button on TDR Management then Copy TDR form will be opened. All the existing TDR are displayed in the combo. Select a TDR and give it a new name. User can select a copy Date from Calendar Combo. System date will be displayed by default. Enter an Offset Number and click on the Ok button, the existing TDR with data and linking will be copied in to a new TDR.

What is Offset Number in Yield power.com ( Defect Yield Trending Analysis Software )?
Offset Number is a number, which increases or decreases the labels and links the Label after leaving the number of label you have entered. For example if the user copies a TDR and enters 2 as the offset number, then the Yield Power will leave the two labels and link the parameter section with the third label from the label, which was linked before. And if there is no third label then it will show the simple hyperlink LINK. And Yield Power will treat both the labels and parameters similarly. And if you enter -2 then Yield Power do the same function but replace the labels with third previous label.

Can I copy a TDR with new Template in Yield Power ?
Yes, you can copy a TDR with new Template. The entire defined template will be available in the combo. By changing the Template no linking will be copied, only the Parameter names and Specification and Sim performance Values will be copied.

Export TDR

Can I export TDR?
Yes, you can export a TDR from the Yield Power to system. For Exporting TDR click on Export TDR button on TDR Management form. Select where you want to save TDR with all its Histograms and specify the file name. Click on the ok button then the Yield Power will export the TDR with all its histogram.

In which format, the TDR will be exported in Yield power.com ( Defect Yield Trending Analysis Software )?
The TDR will be exported in the HTML format.
